Pre-Employment Evaluations are an extremely useful tool for both employers and employees.

There are three main functions of a pre-employment evaluation:

1. To determine the applicant's degree of "fit" within a given organization, based on the demands of the organization and the applicant's working style and views on teamwork

2. To determine whether an applicant meets the minimum requirements for psychological suitability to perform the duties of a given position

3. To determine whether an applicant is capable of withstanding the psychological demands of a given position based on the applicant's levels of social competence, judgment, stress resilience, anger management, and integrity
